Lester H. Bryant, Sr.
Lester is a videographer and editor who has an extensive background in video. He is owner and Director of Gye Nyame Video Ministries. The name of his company, Gye Nyame means "None Other Except God", which reflects Lesters philosophy about his purpose in life.
While he worked as a tool maker, Lester began his second career as a videographer. Even then, he used his spare time to shoot pictures with a still camera which led to his eventual interest in video work. From there, Lester got his break by working with the Historic Greater Friendship Baptist Church, where Rev. Dr. Larry W. Howard gave him the opportunity to develop a video broadcast on Cleveland Cable Access Channel.
Upon retiring as a tool maker, Lester expanded his video efforts to become the videographer and editor of three successful one-hour cable access TV shows: I Believe in God Ministries, produced by the late Rev. Fred Robinson; Wake Up And Live with the Arts, and A New You For A New Life, both produced by Sue Johnson and the Wake Up And Live's Actors Studio. The shows currently airs on Cox Cable in such cities as Lakewood and Parma, Ohio, Cleveland proper for Cleveland residents, and on YouTube clips which Lester edits and produces. Currently, Lester has extended his videography services to include taping and editing the Original Harvest Missionary Baptist Church Sunday Service which airs on Cleveland Cable Access Channel 96.
Lester also is videographer, editor and instructor for A New You For A New Life. He works with Sue Johnson to deliver non-traditional video-based community service workshops which helps women, men and at-risk teens transform their lives, using an actors approach, especially in the areas of employment, communication and interpersonal skills and professional image impact. Adding to his list of impressive video skills and experience. Lester is also responsible for creating the unique graphics and, producing the commercials which appear on the Wake Up And Live with the Arts TV show.
